75% Tempranillo, 15% Mazuelo, 10% Graciano/La Rioja: 5 vineyards from 1926-1976. Calcareous clay & alluvial. Grapes are sorted extensively at the winery and undergo indigenous yeast fermentation in open top oak fermenters. Aged for 24 months in French oak, 18 of which are 225L barriques. We visited the winery & know the owner.
