70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 7% Mazuelo, 3% Graciano/La Rioja: 65% estate vineyards with the rest leased
on long term contracts from 1940-1990. Aged for 6 months in new French barrique, followed by two full years in older 70% French & 30% American oak barriques. wines are racked throughout the same aging process and fined with egg whites before bottling. Minimum of 18 months aging in bottle. We visited the winery & know the owner.
